The search for two people believed to be armed and dangerous moved from Colorado to Mississippi over the weekend as the truck they were believed to be in was found in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to a sober-living home on December 19 and found “large quantities of blood in multiple locations throughout the residence. They issued a “be on the lookout” alert for three people at the time along with a 2013 Audi A4.
A few days later, Park County deputies got a welfare call to a residence near Hartsel, where they found the Audi. Deputies also found 65-year-old Timmy L. Huston dead at the home and his truck missing. Huston, they said, had “indirect ties” to the missing people from El Paso County.
Two of those people are described as persons of interest in whatever happened at the sober-living home. The third, 37-year-old Steven Walker, is considered missing under suspicious circumstances.
The persons of interest are Johnny Rankin Morris, 46, and Hailey Diane Cole, 43. Both are considered armed and dangerous.
On Saturday morning, El Paso County investigators said the missing truck had been found in Mississippi but Morris and Cole were still at large. They cautioned anyone who sees them not to approach but to call 911.
Morris is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 150 pounds with brown and gray hair, blue eyes and a tattoo on his right ear. Cole is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 145 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Walker, the missing person, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his right arm.
