Spit on Sidewalk Leads to Arrest in 36-Year-Old Cold Case Murder of Massachusetts Woman

Two adults and a juvenile were found dead in Frisco, Texas, in what appears to be a double murder-suicide.

CBS News reports that on Friday around 4 p.m., the Frisco Police Department was called to a home in the 10200 block of Bancroft Lane for a welfare check. The homeowner had not shown up to work, and no one could reach her by phone. While police were en route, a family member rushed to the home and called 911 after finding two bodies.

The homeowner, Stacy White, 53; her boyfriend, Ronald Morris, 54; and his son, Gavin Morris, 15, were found dead.

“The preliminary information gathered at the scene suggests that this is a double murder-suicide,” Frisco police said in a news release. “However, Frisco detectives continue to investigate all aspects of this case, and a final determination may not be made for some time.”

White’s neighbor, Eulanda Reddick, has lived next door for 20 years. Reddick stated that Ronald Morris had moved in during the approximate two years that he and White had been dating.

“Twenty years we were neighbors; we’re sister neighbors,” Reddick said. “She kept to herself and had a really meek spirit. For the most part, she didn’t bother anybody, so for something like this to happen, it’s mind-blowing.”

William Reddick added, “She was respected. I will say that. She kept to herself. If you needed something, she would come through for you,” according to NBC DFW.

Frisco police have not released information about which person committed suicide. They are conducting a thorough investigation and will release more information as it becomes available.
