Matthew Perry, Chandler Bing on ‘Friends, Found Dead in His Hot Tub

More details have emerged following the arrest of five people in connection with the death of actor Matthew Perry.

Federal prosecutors allege that Perry initially obtained ketamine from an unscrupulous doctor who sought to exploit the actor’s addiction issues. Dr. Salvador Plasencia taught Perry’s live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, how to administer the drug and provided ketamine to both Perry and Iwamasa at exorbitant prices. When the drugs became too expensive, Perry and Iwamasa turned to street dealers.

Assistant Kenneth Iwamasa contacted several street dealers, and Eric Fleming agreed to a deal. Fleming then turned to his supplier, Jasveen Sangha, known as “The Ketamine Queen.” Fleming paid Sangha for the drugs with cash from Iwamasa.

Within two weeks, Sangha supplied Fleming and Iwamasa with 50 vials of ketamine to distribute to Perry for $11,000. When news of Perry’s death began to spread, Sangha texted Fleming, “Delete all of our messages.”
