Cash App founder Bob Lee was reportedly stabbed to death on Tuesday.
Sources told KNTV that Lee, 43, was attacked in San Francisco. Cops reportedly found Lee wounded, and he was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Known as “Crazy Bob,” Lee was the chief product officer of crypto-currency start-up MobileCoin at the time of his death. The San Francisco Standard reported that Lee moved to Miami in October 2022.
Lee joined MobileCoin in 2021 and had been the chief technology officer of Square, the payment company owned by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey that was renamed Block in 2021. Cash App was launched by Square in 2013 as “Square Cash.”
No arrests have been made in Lee’s death, and police have not released information about any suspect or suspects.
