A New Jersey woman was found dead on Thursday, nearly a week after she reportedly vanished from her college campus.

Mercer County prosecutors said Misrach Ewunetie, 20, was found deceased behind tennis courts at Princeton University. Law enforcement sources told WNBC that the area is relatively secluded and restricted to authorized vehicles.

Ewunetie was last seen on Friday near Scully Hall, which is a residential hall. Additional details regarding her disappearance were not made available.

Sources also told WNBC that a preliminary investigation showed no signs of trauma. Prosecutors appear to have corroborated this, saying there were no noticeable signs of injury and that her death does not seem criminal or suspicious.

It is also unclear when Ewunetie died. An autopsy will be performed to determine Ewunetie’s cause of death.
