A four-year-old Western Australian boy was hit and killed by a taxi in the Pilbara region on March 24

A four-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a taxi while trying to cross the road with his family.

The Western Australian boy was hit by the white Toyota taxi bus driving west on Tambrey Drive in Nickol, in the Pilbara region, about 7.45pm on March 24.

The young boy suffered critical injuries and was flown to Perth Children’s Hospital, where he later died.

Major Crash investigators are appealing for anyone with information, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to contact Crime Stoppers.
