Texas police are searching for a missing Denton teenager who hasn’t been seen for three weeks.
According to the Denton Police Department, 16-year-old Katy Throneberry was last seen on June 9 at the Cracker Barrel in the 4000 block of Interstate 35 in Denton. Surveillance cameras captured Katy leaving with a “taller male” in her parent’s car, police said. The following day, police found the car unoccupied in downtown Dallas.
Katy is described as a white female who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and could be wearing glasses.
She was last seen wearing a brown Nintendo shirt, blue knee-length jean shorts, and glasses.
There’s currently no description of the male seen leaving the restaurant with the teen. Foul play is not suspected, DPD said.
