BOLO: Police Seek Tips on Missing Indiana Woman

Crawfordsville police in Indiana are on the lookout for 28-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen in over a week.

Authorities believe 28-year-old Lindsey Cox may be out of state with her boyfriend, John Byrer, and their 7-month-old son.

Initially reported missing on December 2, Lindsey was contacted by officers the same day, resulting in a temporary removal of her missing person status after her family was notified.

However, concerns from family members persisted, leading them to reach out to police again on December 7. The Crawfordsville Police Department has reinstated her missing person status, confirming that Lindsey was believed to be in northern Indiana at that time.

Lindsey Cox has contacted the Crawfordsville Police Department multiple times, most recently on December 10, when an officer suggested she go to a nearby police department for a wellness check.

Meanwhile, police are collaborating with other jurisdictions to ensure her well-being.

Anyone with information should contact the Crawfordsville Police Department at 765-307-2634 or the Montgomery County Central Communications Center at 765-362-3300.

The story is developing. Check back for updates.
