BOLO: Police Seek Tips on Missing 15-Year-Old Utah Girl, $20K Reward Offered

Police in Utah are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a 15-year-old girl who has been missing from South Jordan since April 21.

Law enforcement in both Utah and Texas are searching for Alisa Petrov. Texas City police joined the investigation on Thursday after South Jordan police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Parents Nikolai and Olga Petrov said they feared someone could have lured her or her away or that she could have been trafficked.

“That’s what we are suspecting at the moment,” Olga Petrov told KSL TV. “We have no confirmation, but concerns.”

Alisa was last seen going into a school in American Fork, close to 655 South and 500 East. She never made it to her classes and was reportedly spotted at  a nearby gas station, where she told other teens she wanted to run away.

“She entered the building, she didn’t make it to the classroom,” Olga Petrov said. “The teachers said she never saw her that day.”

Alisa then asked someone for a ride to the UTA FrontRunner station at 6786 W. 7750 North, then boarded the train to Provo.

“She asked a girl to get her a ticket in exchange of cash for the bus to Las Vegas,” Olga Petrov said.

MSN reports that Alisa’s family is offering a $20,000 reward “to the first person who provides verifiable information that directly leads to the safe return of Alisa.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact 911.
