Danielle Lopez

New Jersey State police said this week that a missing woman’s car was found disabled, following her disappearance in April.

According to New Jersey State Police, 37-year-old Danielle Lopez was last seen on April 13 at a Wawa store off 4 Route 72 in Vincentown. Police announced Wednesday that they found her vehicle abandoned in Woodland Township.

“Danielle’s 2008 2-door blue Hyundai Accent was found disabled on Lost Lane Road in Penn State Forest, Woodland Township,” state police posted on Facebook.

Courier Post reports that a woman who said she’s Lopez’s mother posted a plea on Facebook for information that leads to her daughter’s whereabouts.

“Danielle was sweet, creative, and loving,” Sue Quackenbush wrote. “She was a wonderful daughter and a vibrant light in my life.”

“I’m asking for prayers from the community as we once again navigate an incredibly painful situation.”

Lopez is described as standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing around 135 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Missing Persons Unit at (609) 882-2000 ext. 2554 or email missingpinformation@njsp.gov. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

The story is developing. Check back for updates.
