BREAKING: The bodies of two people have been found inside the rubble of a burnt-out shed in Queensland’s North Burnett region after authorities were alerted to a fire on a rural property at Biggenden, 83 kilometres west of Maryborough, at 12.20pm on Tuesday as police declare it a crime scene.
The shed at the property was destroyed and the two bodies were discovered inside the ruins.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service said the fire took around seven hours to extinguish and there were six crews at the scence at the peak of the fire.
Police stood guard on the property overnight.

Forensic investigators arrived at the scene on Tuesday afternoon to search for clues. Police said it was too early to determine whether the fire was deliberately lit but investigations were ongoing.
