This is the shocking moment a distracted Amazon driver was robbed by balaclava-clad thugs armed with a hammer.
The brazen thieves were caught on CCTV as they ransacked the vehicle and made off with sackfuls of valuables in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
In footage from a camera on a house opposite where the van was parked, the driver was seen checking something on the driver’s side.
The first thug then crept along the other side of the vehicle and checked the driver was not looking.
He slid open the van’s door before he and his accomplices took sackfuls of valuables out.

Although there is no sound on the video, the gang seem to be shouting threats at the driver, who remains rooted to the spot.
At least one of the yobs was seen brandishing a hammer before they fled down the street with their haul.

Amazon customers reacted with fury when the footage was shared on social media.
One said: ‘This is disgraceful! Glad the driver is OK but what about the items people have bought and waiting for?
‘That is not OK for these scroats to just run off with them. It’s not the point that Amazon will replace them.’
People in Bradford were also furious. One posted: ‘Can’t believe this sort of thing happens and we are going to be city of culture.’

West Yorkshire Police said: ‘At about 12.46pm yesterday, police received a report of theft from a vehicle in Brownroyd Hill Road, Wibsey.
‘The suspects were reported to have run off towards Briarwood Crescent.
‘Anyone with information that will assist the investigation is asked to contact police in Bradford on 101 quoting crime reference 13320073688 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat.
