
Southport child killer Axel Rudakubana will today face sentencing for the murders of three young girls who were attacked inside a dance class.
Rudakubana unexpectedly pleaded guilty to the murders of Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar on Monday when a trial was due to open at Liverpool Crown Court.
The 18-year-old admitted 16 charges in total including the attempted murders of eight children and two adults and possessing a terrorist manual following the attacks on July 29 last year.
He is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court today and is not expected to receive a whole life order.
