A Pennsylvania man shot and killed another man Saturday night in an argument over hunting.

Pennsylvania police said that David Heathcote told troopers he shot the other man, identified as Robert Wingard, after the two argued and Wingard threatened to shoot Heathcote’s daughter, KDKA reported.

At that point, police said, Heathcote shot Wingard, who died at the scene.

Heathcoate as been charged with criminal homicide and is being held in the Venango County Jail without bond.

Police did not say if Heathcote’s daughter was present at the time of the shooting.
