The new girl group Baby Monsters will debut soon. Prior to their much-awaited debut, the label YG Entertainment revealed Baby Monsters’ members’ names, ages, and a surprising new detail.

From 2NE1’s cultural impact in making K-pop girl groups prominent to Blackpink making history, YG’s girl groups have paved their own unique way to success globally and now fans wait to see all about Baby Monsters’ debut.

Baby Monsters’ members ages and names revealed
Baby Monsters’ currently have seven members – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita. The new YG girl group’s youngest member is Chiquita who is only 14 years old. Here’s all about the other members’ ages and more details.
Ruka
21-year-old Baby Monsters Ruka will be a dancer and rapper for the group. The Japanese rookie’s original name is Kawai Ruka and she has been formerly a part of the Japanese girl group, Shibu3 Project.
Pharita
Thai member Pharita is 19 in age and her idol is none other than Blackpink Lisa. Pharita is a vocalist and dancer.
Asa
Enami Asa, another Japanese member of the group is only 17 years old. The member will be a dancer and rapper of the group if she gets the chance to debut.
Ahyeon
One of the youngest members of Baby Monster, Ahyeon is 16 years old. Ahyeon is already a fan-favorite member with fans predicting that she will be a dancer, vocalist, rapper, and visual of the group.
Haram
Shin Haram of Baby Monsters is also 16, the same age as Ahyeon. The South Korean rookie of the music group will have multiple positions including being a rapper, vocalist, and dancer.
Rora
Another Korean member of the group, Rora is only 15 and she was previously a part of U.SSO Girl under the name, U.ha.
Chiquita
Thai member Chiquita is the youngest (maknae) in the group and is only 14 years old. The member’s original name is Riracha Phondechaphipha. She will be a vocalist and dancer.

YG surprises fans by revealing a twist about Baby Monsters’ debut
Baby Monsters’ debut is taking place soon but it will come with a twist. As per the latest video trailer of Baby Monsters, the group will debut only after a last evaluation where fans will participate in choosing the best members out of seven rookies. Yang Hyun Suk, the executive producer of YG said that Baby Monsters will not be a seven-member group.
