Yeat releases Afterlyfe for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music

The much-anticipated album by Yeat, Afterlyfe, has already been released for streaming on different platforms!

The new album by the Portland rapper seems to have dropped a few hours sooner than expected as it was originally set to release on Friday, February 24, 2023.

A lot of unaware fans are desperate to know when Yeat’s third studio album will drop, while others are busy streaming all the tracks on Spotify and Apple Music.

So, here’s everything we know about Afterlyfe by Yeat.

Yeat releases Afterlyfe

Afterlyfe’s release comes as a surprise to fans as the exact drop time for the same wasn’t confirmed.

Yeat’s new album consists of 22 songs, which can only be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music, at the time of writing.

The rapper had teased the new album during an interview with Complex and noted that he was approaching it differently.

“It’s a whole different sound fully. It’s just rap beats mixed with… It’s just a different style. I don’t know. It’s not regular rap beats. It’s a whole different new wave,” Yeat said.

Even the cover art of Afterlyfe is courtesy of Cian Moore, the photographer who shot the rapper for Complex cover story.

Fans review the new album

The album is about an hour long. A lot of fans have already streamed most of Yeat’s songs and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

Yeat released his third album nearly six months after dropping his Lyfe EP.

One fan who paid close attention to the lyrics of the song tweeted: “What makes it even better is that it is the last song in the album, it’s like he’s slowly ascending to the Afterlyfe and is saying goodbye”

“Afterlyfe could actually top up to me. This is his best album,” another commented.

A third fan opined: “Afterlyfe already album of the year… until Young Boy drops.”
