The Brazilian was pretty much the dream goalscorer for Liverpool fans after the news emerging in recent days.
Firmino is out of contract at the end of the season and is now set to leave the club for nothing having decided not to renew his deal.

“It was not an easy decision for him, I think everybody can imagine,” said Klopp. “The reception he got today when he came on was absolutely outstanding, wow! Scoring the goal, I think with all the wonderful goals we scored, that was the goal the whole stadium wanted pretty much the most,” he added.

Roberto Firmino can still play a huge role for Liverpool
Firmino is on his way out and his agents may already have one eye on the next potential move for him.
Yet for Firmino, he still has a big role to play at Anfield between now and the summer.
Sure, he may be behind the likes of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz when he returns, as well as the shinier, newer toys of Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo.
Yet Firmino has bags of experience and has been a proven winner with Liverpool over the years.
Firmino put the seal on the victory over United on Sunday afternoon and he may well be able to chip in with a few more goals yet.
Liverpool are really in the hunt for the top four now and Firmino would love to secure another year of Champions League football as a parting gift.
