Tottenham Hotspur are still in pursuit of a new permanent manager following Antonio Conte’s departure.
Plenty of names have been doing the rounds, such as Mauricio Pochettino and Julian Nagelsmann.
More recently, another top manager became a free agent, prompting renewed links with Tottenham.

Brendan Rodgers recently left Leicester City by mutual consent after four years at the club.
TalkSPORT reported in March that Tottenham are big fans of the 50-year-old.
It was suggested that Spurs admire Rodgers and his style of play is what they are seeking from their next manager.
Meanwhile, Graeme Bailey recently told the Talking Transfers Podcast that Daniel Levy rates the Northern Irishman highly.
Several pundits, including Gary Neville and Jamie O’Hara, reckon Rodgers to Tottenham could happen.
However, Ryan Taylor has warned Spurs that the decision to appoint him may not go down well with the fanbase.
“It wouldn’t surprise you, but I think Brendan’s stock has fallen so drastically in the past 18 months,” he told GiveMeSport.
“And I think that would be an appointment that wouldn’t be received well at Tottenham, even though it probably would have been a decent move.

“It wasn’t long ago when he was at Leicester and flying, back-to-back fifth finishes and an FA Cup; because of that, the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle we’re looking at him.
“It’s crazy how football changes; it’s such a fickle sport because, suddenly, nobody’s interested in Brendan Rodgers.”

Our view
Rodgers to Tottenham is an appointment that would make sense.
The Northern Irishman won two league titles, two cups and three league cups during his time as Celtic boss.
Rodgers also won an FA Cup and a Community Shield with Leicester, plus the League Cup at Swansea.
And crucially, he knows the Premier League inside out.
Earlier in his career, Rodgers had a spell at Liverpool, and very nearly won the title in 2014.
He is now much more experienced at the highest level and would be able to take that to Tottenham.
Sure, the end of Rodgers’ tenure at Leicester hasn’t been great.
However, his track record speaks for itself, and all in all, he ticks a lot of boxes for Spurs.
