Tottenham fan and pundit Jamie O’Hara now looks foolish after sending Arsenal and West Ham a warning in 2021.
What’s the story?
Well, the 36-year-old claimed that Arsenal and West Ham are “going to be worried” by the presence of Tottenham after they announced the arrival of Antonio Conte back in November 2021.
Speaking to Sky Sports, O’Hara said: “I can’t express how amazing this appointment is. He is a leader. Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juventus, absolutely fantastic.
“Now, what I will say is Arsenal, Leicester, West Ham, they’re going to be worried because Tottenham Hotspur are back!”
We aren’t quite sure what O’Hara even meant by the word “back” given the fact Spurs haven’t won a trophy for 15 years – even that was the League Cup.
Aside from that, these comments have aged like milk – Conte has been nothing short of a disaster in N17.
The Italian has failed to take Tottenham on a proper cup run since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo, recently missing out on a place in the FA Cup Quarter-Final following a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United.
As Brighton, Grimsby, Burnley, Blackburn Rovers and Fulham did manage to qualify, it seemed to be the best chance Spurs may have of winning the FA Cup in many years, with all due respect to those sides.
Tottenham seem lightyears behind Arsenal
As West Ham and Leicester are worried about relegation more than they are about Tottenham right now, we’ll focus on Arsenal.
Spurs had all the bragging rights in north London last season when they shoved Arsenal out of the Champions League qualification spots right at the end of the campaign.

However, Tottenham have failed to build on that achievement, with the Gunners instead reacting in such a way that they look set to win the Premier League this term, let alone finish in the top four.
It has been a miserable time for Spurs fans under Conte – the Italian has been a huge disappointment in N17.
