BEAUTY mogul Kim Kardashian began posting videos with her daughter North West on TikTok in 2021.
After amassing more than 15million followers and over 454million likes, the account was temporarily banned, and now fans want to know why.

Why was Kim Kardashian’s TikTok account banned?
Kim Kardashian and her oldest daughter, North West, are often seen posting TikTok videos online @kimandnorth, despite reservations from her father, Kanye West.
The videos often document their mommy and daughter travels, fun lip-sync videos, and popular trends, however, fans were shocked when they noticed that the account was banned in April 2023.
Complex verified that the page featured the “account banned” label and the following app message: “The account kimandnorth is no longer available.”
Fans were also unable to find the account on TikTok’s website.
At this time, it is unclear why the account got banned, but sources told TMZ that North wants to take a break.
“North has been more interested in focusing her creativity in other areas lately and is taking a break from TikTok,” one source told the outlet.
“Like most kids, interests change often, so she may be back on as early as tomorrow — or never again.”
Luckily for fans, the account was restored within an hour.

What has Kanye West said about Kim and North’s TikTok account?
After Kim and North launched the account, Kanye slammed his ex-wife for not getting his consent.
He later elaborated on his feelings during an appearance on the Hollywood Unlocked in January 2022.
“Tell her don’t have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok and don’t have her on TikTok at all if I don’t approve that, and I said it after it was done without me knowing, and it happened again,” he told host Jason Lee, via Complex.
“So I feel like there’s some poking the bear, trying to antagonize me or create this, like, ‘crazy’ narrative. Because to say someone is crazy, they’re trying to take the power away and do anything to get people to not pay attention to me.”
Kim then addressed Kanye’s concerns on Instagram, saying: “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision—because it brings her happiness.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

Kanye and Kim were previously married from 2014 to 2022, during which time, they welcomed four kids.
Their kids include North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm.
Kim is often seen posting about her kids on social media alongside her sister, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and mom, Kris Jenner.
