STEVEN YEUN has become the latest celebrity to fall victim to a sickening death hoax.
The Walking Dead actor remains alive and well despite a satirical website falsely posting about a Facebook page titled “R.I.P. Steven Yeun”.

Why is ‘Steven Yeun dead’ trending?
The actor’s death is trending as a result of yet another internet hoax.
A website known for creating fake death announcements reported that a Facebook page dedicated to the actor’s passing had been created.
The post on the alleged page read: “At about 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday (November 21, 2023), our beloved actor Steven Yeun passed away.
“Steven Yeun was born on December 11, 1983 in Seoul. He will be missed but not forgotten.
“Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
However, the Facebook page doesn’t exist, and neither does the post announcing Yeun’s death.
The fictional article even stated that the actor’s representatives officially confirmed that he is not dead on Wednesday, November 22.
It reported: “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax.
“He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.”
What has Steven Yeun said about the death hoax?
Yuen is yet to make any comment on the rumours surrounding his death.
In fact, he is known to be regularly inactive on social media, with no post on X (formerly known as Twitter) or Instagram in 2023.

But as aforementioned, it’s been confirmed that it was a complete hoax and the actor remains alive and well.

Who is Steven Yeun?
Yeun is an American actor who is best known for his starring role in the television series The Walking Dead.
The 39-year-old played Glenn Rhee in the post-apocalyptic horror drama for six years between 2010-2016 and is considered a major part of the show’s success.
Yeun was born on December 21, 1983, in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Canada with his family five years later.
The family then moved to the US and eventually settled in Troy, Michigan, before Yeun left for Chicago in 2005 to pursue his career in acting.
Following his breakthrough role in The Walking Dead, Yeun starred in in a number of films.
Those include Okja (2017), Burning (2018), Sorry To Bother You (2018), The Humans (2021) and Nope (2022).
Yeun became the first Asian American actor to earn a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the 2020 drama Minari.
He was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2023 after starring in the dark comedy series Beef.
Yeun has also voiced main characters in television series such as Voltron: Legendary Defender (2016–2018), Tales of Arcadia (2016–2021), Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters (2017–2018), Final Space (2018–2021), Tuca & Bertie (2019–2022), and Invincible (2021–present).
In 2021, Time magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Yeun married photographer Joana Park in December, 2016, and the couple share two children together.
