As Tottenham Hotspur succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, Davinson Sanchez was booed by Spurs fans themselves.
The atmosphere at the club and amongst the supporters is toxic, as the Lilywhites are synonymous with failure and now, their top four hopes hang in the balance.
With context in mind, a huge section of the frustrated Tottenham Hotspur faithful booed Davinson Sanchez against Bournemouth.
Why was Davinson Sanchez booed by Tottenham fans during Bournemouth defeat?
Well, Marcus Tavernier made light work of the £42 million (Guardian) man by easing past him way too easily before assisting Dominic Solanke, who dinked the ball past Hugo Lloris.

Considering Sanchez has been at the club since 2017, it seems like the supporters were angered by not just the error but just how ‘bang average’, as Jamie O’Hara once called him has been for six years.
Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold confirmed that Davinson Sanchez was booed by Tottenham fans during their latest defeat to Bournemouth.
“Boos from around the stadium for Davinson Sanchez when he next touches the ball after the kick-off, and again soon after. That was uncomfortable to watch”, he tweeted.

HITC View: Booing players is out of order from the Tottenham fans
Not for a second should one even try to understate how much of a mess Spurs find themselves in as the fans’ frustration is utterly understandable.
The result against Gary O’Neil’s side, just a week after the Lilywhites beat Brighton is simply unforgivable from this set of players.
However, for Davinson Sanchez to get booed by Tottenham fans against Bournemouth was unjust, regardless of his shambolic defending.
Ultimately, Sanchez must be devoid of any confidence in any case and to singlehandedly target him when a number of player at the club have been incredibly underwhelming this season is unfair.
For the player’s sake, one hopes he bounces back and redeems himself.
