ACTRESS Suzanne Shepherd of The Sopranos and Goodfellas fame died in November 2023 at the age of 89.
She is survived by her only daughter, artist Kate Shepherd.

Who was Suzanne Shepherd?
Born October 31, 1934, Suzanne “Honey” Shepherd was an American actress, director, teacher, and private coach.
She graduated from Bennington College in Vermont and then studied acting with Larry Arrick, Herbert Berghof, and Sanford Meisner.
While people know her from TV and film, Shepherd was an esteemed acting coach and theatre actor and director.
She has also taught and coached actors for nearly five decades in her own studio in New York City and on the faculties of Trinity Square Conservatory, Hartman Conservatory, and the Berghof Studio.

Born in 1961, Suzanne Shepherd’s daughter, Kate Shepherd, is a New York City-based artist.
She graduated from Oberlin College in Ohio and studied in various art institutions, including the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies, the New York Academy of Art, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
She obtained her MFA from the School of Visual Arts.
Early in her career, Kate painted portraits and made drawings for The New Yorker.
She has since pitched a long list of solo exhibitions all over the country, including the Hiram Butler Gallery in Houston, Texas, and the Krakow Witkin Gallery, in Boston, Massachusetts.
