IN 2022, famed TV host and actress Ricki Lake tied the knot with her longtime husband, Ross Burningham.
Their nuptials came after a nearly yearlong engagement and now fans want to know more about Lake’s new husband.
Who is Ricki Lake’s husband, Ross Burningham?
Ross Burningham is a lawyer based in Los Angeles, California.
Before starting his law career, Burningham received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University where he played college volleyball.
He went on to pursue both his master’s degree and Juris Doctor from his alma mater.
Following his studies, Burningham worked as an attorney for Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison.
He moved on to Heller Ehrman as a shareholder before becoming a partner for DLA Piper in April 2008.
It wasn’t until July 2015 that Burningham moved on to Gunderson Dettmer where he works as of February 2024.
In addition to his law degree, Burningham is a father to four children.

Ricki Lake and Ross Burningham tied the knot in their Malibu home on January 2, 2022.
Speaking to the NY Times, Lake reflected on their marriage saying she felt her ex-husband, Christian Evans – who tragically died by suicide in 2017, spiritually gave his blessing.
“I believe Christian orchestrated this whole thing,” Lake said.

“When he passed over, he started taking care of me. He wanted me to find love — I believe Ross is the man Christian wishes he could have been for me.”
She and Burningham began dating in June 2020 while they were both living in Marina del Rey, California.
The two met through a mutual neighborhood friend, Gem Cocker, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the following months, the two hit it off and moved into her now-Malibu home in February 2021 – which also happened to be the same month the two got engaged.
Has Ricki Lake been married before?
Before Burningam, Ricki Lake had been married twice before.
On March 26, 1994, Lake married her first husband, Rob Sussman. The two were married for nearly 10 years before filing for divorce in 2003.
Their divorce was finalized on February 25, 2004. While the pair were together, Lake and Sussman welcomed two sons; Milo and Owen.
Following her first divorce, Lake began dating late jewelry designer Christian Evans in 2009.
The two dated for two for three years before tying the knot on April 8, 2012.
In 2014, the two filed for divorce but put their divorce on hold for a few months before officially finalizing in 2015.
After Evans’ tragic death, Lake got a tattoo to honor her late husband of an infinity symbol with the quote “I vow to continue loving you.”
Speaking with People, Lake said the tattoo was not only paid as a tribute but to remind herself “to continue loving myself.”
