Who is Porsha Williams’ husband Simon Guobadia?
Simon is a 59-year-old film producer and entrepreneur who is the founder and CEO of the wholesaler industry SIMCOL Petroleum.
He was introduced on RHOA at the end of season 13 as Falynn’s husband. However, Simon and Falynn split once filming had wrapped.
Born on June 2, 1964, in Nigeria, he immigrated to the United States in 1982.
Simon also spends his free time on the golf course and often shares social media posts of himself.
When did Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia get married?
On May 10, 2021, it was revealed that Porsha was engaged to Simon – despite him being the ex of her RHOA co-star Falynn.
After a whirlwind romance, the couple announced their engagement one month after they began dating.
In May, Porsha took to Instagram to confirm their relationship and said, “Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love.
“I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focusing on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
While she stopped short of announcing the engagement, Simon later confirmed the pair were indeed set to wed.
The entrepreneur wrote on Instagram: “I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and then some.”
Simon and Porsha held a traditional Nigerian wedding on November 25, 2022, and subsequently had an American wedding on November 26, 2022.

Porsha broke down gendered barriers on September 8, 2021, when she bought her fiancé Simon an engagement ring.

Porsha captured the moment as Simon tried on his new engagement ring at Tiffany and Co. and posted the emotional video to her Instagram account saying, “I said yes and so did he!”
In a similar fashion, Simon took to Instagram to express the thrill of the moment.
“Thank you babe for the beautiful engagement ring you got me,” he said. “It symbolizes that we are on this journey together.”
When did Simon Guobadia split from Falynn?
Simon’s engagement to Porsha came just TWO weeks after he split from his wife Falynn.
Taking to Instagram on April 22, 2021, she wrote: “After two years of marriage and 5 years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways.
“We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children.
“This mutual decision was not made lightly and despite our current willingness to be transparent, we only ask our friends and supporters to be respectful of our privacy as our family gets through this very difficult period.”
Simon then wrote on his own Instagram story: “After a year and a half together, Falynn and I have made the mutual decision to end our marriage.

After a decade on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams left the show.
She shared the announcement in an Instagram post on September 30, 2021, saying it’s time to begin the next chapter of her life.
“This was a difficult decision to not only make but also come to terms with. It’s one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it’s the right one,” she said in her post.
Porsha’s following endeavor began with the release of her memoir The Pursuit of Porsha which was published on November 30, 2021.
She also expressed the sentiment that she isn’t going anywhere. “Don’t worry,” she said. “I’ll be back on your TV very soon.”
Porsha announced on May 4, 2023, that she would be part of the cast on the Fox TV show Stars on Mars.
