Who is Kevin Lemons’s wife?
Late gospel singer Kevin Lemons was married to his wife, Tiunna, from May 2007 to his death this January. Early last summer, the couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. They had been friends since 1996, the year that Kevin Lemons commenced his career as a gospel singer.
Tiunna Lemons describes herself as an entrepreneur on social media. On Kevin Lemons’s website, it reveals that the couple have been working together to bring choir music into the mainstream. It has been described as their “mission” to revive choral music and prove that “Choirs Matter.”
Kevin Lemons and wife Tiunna tried to have children for years
Last year, it came to light that Kevin Lemons and Tiunna had gone through an ordeal which “Shattered my faith and shattered my whole self,” Kevin explained.
Kevin and his wife Tiunna had been trying to have children for 14 years. Last year, they had hopes of adopting two daughters, twins, which ultimately fell through.
“Unfortunately, due to circumstances, lies, deceit, that won’t be happening. Our hopes of bringing the girls home won’t be happening,” Tiunna said in a video posted to social media.
Tiunna had tried to help a young pregnant mother who could not raise her children due to the circumstances of her pregnancy. She had tried to secure the young woman an adoption agency, but the mother allegedly said she would only go through with the pregnancy if Tiunna and Kevin Lemons adopted her babies (she was pregnant with twin daughters). The couple drove to North Carolina to collect the children, but it was revealed that the young mother was no longer at the hospital.
