MCDONALD’s is back with another collaborative adult Happy Meal, and this time, they are working with Kerwin Frost.
The Harlem-based DJ and comedian helped create the Kerwin Frost Box as part of the comeback of McNugget Buddies, the collectibles that were first introduced in 1988.

Who is Kerwin Frost?
Born on July 16, 1995, in Harlem, New York, Kerwin Frost is an American DJ, comedian, talk show host, and fashion influencer.
He’s been referred to as the “king of the viral outfit” and “fashion’s funniest man,” thanks to his bold persona and unconventional sartorial choices.
Frost is well-known in New York City’s Soho Youth streetwear scene, but he has since dabbled in other fields, including DJ-ing, acting, and hosting.
“We’re in a time now where you can do many things at once and give yourself that freedom without picking,” he told Highsnobiety.
“Who’s to say you’re not a graphic designer slash engineer? You can do all of those things.
He has a self-produced talk show called Kerwin Frost Talks, in which he interviews prominent names in music and fashion, like SZA, Tyler the Creator, ASAP Rocky, and Jeremy Scott.
He’s also part of the creative collective known as the Spaghetti Boys, which is known to have partnered with Off-White, Heron Preston, and Nike Air.
In 2019, Frost became an Adidas partner, allowing him to design clothing and sneakers and contribute to ad campaigns.
What is the Kerwin Frost Box at McDonald’s?
The Kerwin Frost Box is a Happy Meal Box that includes either 10-piece chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac, french fries, a soft drink, and a McNugget Buddy toy.

It will be available in the US and select markets worldwide starting December 11, 2023.
The McNugget Buddy designs for this box are inspired by Kerwin Frost’s childhood experiences.

“I’ve loved McDonald’s since I was a kid. I even had my own Ronald McDonald doll that I brought to picture day at school, and it was my dream to collect all the McNugget Buddies,” the influencer said in a press release.
“Now, coming up with my own special set of Buddies – each one representing different aspects of self-expression – it’s unreal, a dream come true.
“McDonald’s has been a great partner from day one, and they’ve truly allowed me to create without limits. I hope the Kerwin Frost Box will serve as a reminder for people to hone their creativity and not be afraid to show the world who they really are.”
Who are the McNugget Buddies?
This is the first time in 25 years that McDonald’s is releasing a new set of McNugget Buddies.
For the Kerwin Frost Box, the fast food chain is introducing six characters with interchangeable outfits.
