BELOVED Full House star John Stamos married his second wife, Caitlin McHugh, in 2018.
The marriage came more than a decade after his divorce from Rebecca Romijn.

Who is John Stamos’ wife, Caitlin McHugh?
Since 2018, John Stamos has been married to Caitlin McHugh, who is 23 years his junior.
Like Stamos, she is known for her career in the entertainment industry.
McHugh is an actress, writer, and model who got her start back in the late 2000s with guest roles in Blue Blood, Castle, and Kings.
In 2011, she also guest starred in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which is where she met her future husband.
“I played a guy who was so egotistical that he thought he should spread his progeny, so he had, like 60 kids or something … and Caitlin, ironically, was one of the girls that I was trying to fool and have a baby with,” Stamos recalled during a 2017 interview with People.
At the time, McHugh was in another relationship, but they reconnected a few years later.
“She was in another relationship,” Stamos continued.
“And we just met back up again. Her roommate was on an episode of Fuller House, and so she was in the audience. I walked in, I went, ‘Hey, are you stalking me?’ … She’s like, ‘What? No. I haven’t thought of you twice.’ “
Stamos and McHugh went public with their relationship in 2016 and were engaged the following year.
“I’ve been waiting for the perfect girl for over a decade and she walked into my life,” Stamos told People after the engagement.
“I mean everybody knows that I’ve always loved family, and I wanted to have a family someday and get married again, and everyone’s like, ‘Why don’t you just do it!?’
“I wasn’t the best me,” he continued.

“I was ready, but no one as perfect as Caitlin — a true, pure beautiful person inside — would’ve never gone for the old me, a few years ago.”
The pair tied the knot shortly after on February 3, 2018.
Who is John Stamos’ ex-wife, Rebecca Romijn?
Prior to Stamos’ marriage to McHugh, he was married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005.
Romijn is also an actress known for her role as Mystique in the original X-Men trilogy.
Additionally, she has starred in The Punisher, Femme Fatale, Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, among others.
Not much is known about their split, but Stamos has spoken about it several times, calling it “heartbreaking.”
“We were together for 10 years — it was heartbreaking,” Stamos told People in 2009, via Us Weekly.
“In my book at this point, I would still be married and have three kids. So, it was more about that plan being foiled than anything.”
Romijn went on to marry Jerry O’Connell in July 2007 and welcomed twin girls, Dolly and Charlie, a year later.

Stamos has always been viewed as a father figure thanks to his role as Uncle Jesse on Full House, however, it was not until his second marriage that he welcomed an offspring.
In April 2018, McHugh gave birth to their son, Billy.
“From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son,” Stamos wrote in a social media post following his birth.
Not much is known about Billy due to his young age, but he is often seen on Stamos’ social media pages, going on adventures all across the country.
