Taking to Facebook in February 2022, Jay Shetty shared that Lopez had not only asked him to officiate four weddings but also requested him to speak about the power of love during her special Marry Me performances.
Jay Shetty has performed other weddings including the one between Lopez and Affleck. He also officiated at Lilly Collins and Charlie McDowell’s Colorado wedding the previous year. Shetty spent three years living in a monastery in Mumbai, India, as a monk after graduating from a business school in the UK not long after.
