As the media spotlight turns to Steve Jobs’s youngest child, Eve, following her split from Drew Taggart, we take a look at what Eve Jobs does for her work.
Eve is one of three children born to the late Apple co-founder and his wife, Laurene Powell. Steve Jobs has an elder child, Lisa, whom he had with American painter Chrisann Brennan.
Being the offspring of one of the most famous men in tech, who had a reported IQ of “roughly 160 or above,” it comes as no surprise that those wanting to learn more about Eve Jobs are curious about her own career path.
Let’s take a look at Eve’s educational background and what career she has forged in her 24 years.

An overview of Eve Jobs’s education
Born on July 9, 1998 in Palo Santo, California, Eve Jobs would carry out her education across the country, at Florida’s Upper Echelon Academy. This school allows their students to design their schedule around competitive sporting calendars. For Eve Jobs, this allowed her to compete as an equestrian.
In 2019, Jobs was ranked fifth out of the world’s top 1000 riders under the age of 25, ELLE reports. A year after, Jobs revealed her ambitions to compete in the Olympics. “My hope is to continue progress with the US team. Of course, being able to compete at the Olympics and World Equestrian Games would be a dream,” she told World Of Showjumping.
After leaving Upper Echelon Academy, Eve Jobs attended Stanford University. There, she majored in history with a specific focus on international policy. Stanford is currently tied third with Harvard University as the best in the country. Eve Jobs graduated from the prestigious college in 2021. Given that two years of her education took place during lockdown, Jobs was able to work her school schedule around her riding.

What does Eve Jobs do as her job?
Despite her work as a competing equestrian, Eve has embarked on a modeling career.
After graduating from Stanford, Jobs swapped life in Silicon Valley for the Big Apple. The 24-year-old model moved to New York City to pursue a career in the fashion industry. At that year’s fall Fashion Week in Paris, Eve Jobs made her catwalk debut for Coperni.
Jobs then quickly signed a deal to be the new face of Louis Vuitton, featuring in a digital campaign last year. She is currently signed to DNA Model Management.
Over the last few months, there has been a raging discussion over ‘nepotism babies’ in the media. This conversation is not new, with the idea of nepo babies gaining a so-called ‘foot in the door’ stretching back years. Eve Jobs has been dubbed by some media outlets as another model ‘nepo baby’ alongside the likes of Kaia Gerber and Lila Moss. But Eve Jobs appears to be taking the modeling career by storm. Last year, Jobs featured on the cover of Vogue Japan. She has previously starred in campaigns for the likes of make-up brand Glossier.
What do Eve’s siblings do for work?
Like Eve Jobs, her three siblings have gone on to have extremely successful careers. Her eldest sister, Lisa, attended Harvard University in the late 1990s before embarking on a career as a writer. In 2018, Lisa Brennan-Jobs published a memoir, Small Fry, which detailed the complex relationship she had with her famous father.
Eve Jobs’s eldest brother, Reed (born September 22, 1991) reportedly works as the Managing Director of Health at Emerson Collective. This for-profit organization was founded by his mother. Reed Jobs has a particular interest in oncology. Reed, like his younger sister, attended Stanford. He graduated with a bachelor’s and a master’s from Stanford.
Erin, Steve and Laurene’s second youngest, prefers to keep out of the spotlight. She is reported to have a Masters in Global Media from the American University, and was known to hold a role as Digital and Social Media Strategist at IFAW, an animal welfare charity. Erin is also reportedly an architect and designer.
