'We'll do it again': Manchester City star sends title message as Arsenal win 4-0

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has stated that they will continue to chase down Arsenal until the bitter end – just as they did with Liverpool.

City were in FA Cup action on Tuesday night as they beat Championship club Bristol City 3-0 away from home.

Many connected to City will have been glued to the Arsenal result tonight though as they were in Premier League action.

Everton travelled to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal, hoping to repeat their shock 1-0 win over the Gunners from last month.

This was a much more one-sided affair though as Arsenal ran riot.

Gabriel Martinelli bagged a brace as Arsenal secured a 4-0 victory, moving five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

City are running out of games to find their top form but Walker isn’t giving up.

Kyle Walker sends title message to Arsenal

BBC Sport brought City right back Walker in for punditry duty on Wednesday night.

Two of Walker’s former clubs – Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspur – were in FA Cup action.

Arsenal’s night was sweet enough with a 4-0 win but seeing Tottenham get embarrassed? That just makes it even better.

Walker was understandably asked about the title race given that Arsenal were beating Everton during Tottenham’s game.

Walker noted (20:55) that City have been in this position before having been trying to chase down Liverpool at the top in previous years.

The England international was clear; City will ‘do it again’ and fight until the very last second to try and win the Premier League title.

Walker believes ‘that’s what Manchester City do’, making it clear that Arsenal won’t be able to rest even with their five point advantage at the top.

“We’ve been in this position before, trying to catch Liverpool and we’ll do it again, we’ll keep fighting until the end and that’s what Manchester City do,” said Walker.
