Both Liverpool and Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Liverpool took on Bournemouth away from home.
Tottenham locked horns with Nottingham Forest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Former Premier League champions Liverpool suffered a shock 1-0 loss at the hands of Bournemouth.
The Cherries are fighting for survival in the Premier League and could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Liverpool also beat Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield in the league last weekend.
So, you would have expected the Reds to win today.
Tottenham got the better of Nottingham Forest 3-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Forest are also in danger of going down.

Tottenham are now fourth in the Premier League table with 48 points from 27 matches.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are currently fifth in the standings with 42 points from 26 matches.
Now, while Conte is pleased with the win for Tottenham, he has made it clear that he is not concerned about Liverpool, insisting that his team have to focus only on themselves.

Conte said: “We have to think about ourselves and earlier I was asked about Liverpool losing. We have to think about ourselves.
“A top club has to look at themselves, not at other results.
“Think about getting the three points and then it doesn’t matter what the other team does.
“We have to do the best we can until the end of the season and then see where we are.”
