The couple sparked dating rumors after they were spotted together in LA. While the sources have claimed that things between them are “causal”, seeing them together clearly wasn’t on fans’ 2023 bingo card.
Avril was previously engaged to Mod Sun for nearly a year. He put a ring on her finger in March 2022 and the couple called it quits a year later.

Avril (38) and Tyga (33) share an age difference of five years.
While more details about their blooming relationship are awaited, they didn’t hesitate from sharing a kiss on the lips outside the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party at Paris Fashion Week.
A source told PEOPLE: “Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other. It’s very new. It’s very casual.”
They were spotted together a few days ago while attending a party at KuKu restaurant in Paris last Wednesday, hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio.
However, their first public sitting was at Nonu last month, but sources reportedly told the outlet at the time that they were “just friends and nothing more”.
Mod Sun is ‘healing’ after breakup with ex-fiancee
Mod seemingly addressed the end of his engagement to Avril in an Instagram post shared last week. He reflected on how much his life had changed in a matter of a week while he was working on healing his “broken” heart.
He thanked his fan and supporters by saying: “Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back.”

Even though we came to learn about the split a few days back, sources had previously claimed that the couple had been “on and off for the past two months” and that they were no longer together as a couple.
Avril is yet to comment on the same, while a rep for Mod claimed in a statement to PEOPLE that the singer wasn’t aware of the breakup.
“They were together and engaged as of three days ago when Mod left for the tour so if anything has changed that’s news to him,” they said at the time.
