Stan Collymore has written in CaughtOffSide that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should sign either Declan Rice from West Ham United or Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
The former Liverpool striker has said that the Reds need to sign midfielders to get back to the level they once were.
The pundit has suggested West Ham and England international midfielder Rice as a possible target for Liverpool.
Collymore has also named Dortmund and England international midfielder Bellingham as a potential new player for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.
Both Rice and Bellingham have been linked with Liverpool.
The Athletic have reported that Liverpool are among the clubs who want to sign Bellingham from Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have also been linked with the youngster.
GiveMeSport reported in January 2023 that Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in signing the West Ham star in the summer of 2023.

Stan Collymore wants Liverpool to sign Declan Rice or Jude Bellingham
Collymore wrote: “Liverpool’s entire midfield needs transforming. Stefan Bajetic looks like a great prospect but there’s no way Jurgen Klopp can be relying on an 18-year-old week in, week out.
“I honestly think that anything short of three or four new midfielders in the summer, with at least one of them being either Declan Rice or Jude Bellingham, won’t be good enough.
“In my opinion, not addressing that area of the pitch would see Liverpool fail to seriously compete for several more seasons.
“They’ve got to completely overhaul their midfield engine as soon as possible, no ifs, buts or maybes, so as for Keita being linked away, I’ve got absolutely no problem with him leaving.”
