Hugo Lloris has condemned Tottenham Hotspur supporters for booing defender Davinson Sanchez against Bournemouth.
This was another embarrassing day for Tottenham.
Recent results against Southampton and Everton exposed Tottenham’s problems and Saturday was the same again.
Tottenham went 1-0 up against relegation-threatened Bournemouth before falling 2-1 down.
Even with Arnaut Danjuma pulled Tottenham level late on, it wasn’t enough as Dango Ouattara grabbed the winner for the Cherries.
Tottenham just revel in misery at this point and fans are understandably frustrated with the chaos around Spurs.
Booing your own players is never a great look though and Tottenham fans have now been criticised by captain Lloris.

Hugo Lloris stunned by fans booing Davinson Sanchez
Tottenham defender Clement Lenglet suffered a first-half injury and was replaced by Davinson Sanchez.
The Colombian hasn’t exactly impressed this season and Spurs fans weren’t particularly enthused by his introduction.
Spurs captain Hugo Lloris claims that he heard Tottenham fans booing Sanchez as he was coming on for Lenglet.

Sanchez went on to struggle and when he was substituted in the second half, the booing returned.
Lloris, in comments published by The Mirror, states that he has never seen anything like this before in his career.
Lloris can’t believe that Tottenham fans were booing Sanchez before he even kicked a ball against Bournemouth.
The Frenchman added that he feels really bad for Sanchez as he has been trying his best for Tottenham for a number of years.
The Spurs captain doesn’t want to see things like this in football and thinks the whole situation is a sad one.
“It started earlier, it’s not when he left the pitch, it’s when he came on. I’ve never seen this in my career,” said Lloris. “I feel really bad for Davinson. He’s a team-mate, he’s a friend and he’s been fighting for the club for many, many years now, and it’s just sad. The story is sad for the club, for the fans, for the player. It’s something you don’t want to see in football,” he added.
Sanchez joined Spurs from Ajax in 2017 and looked at home with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld in a Spurs back three.
However, the last few years have been a real struggle for Sanchez and few could really blame the 26-year-old if he pushed for a summer exit.
