Tottenham Hotspur target Arne Slot is closing in on the Eredivisie title with Feyenoord after a huge 5-1 win over RKC Waalwijk.
Spurs have been weighing up a number of managerial targets after parting ways with Antonio Conte.
One of them is Slot, who has been impressing as Feyenoord boss.
The Times suggested in March that Slot is on Tottenham’s wish list as they seek a new boss in the coming months.
The Independent even added last week that Tottenham have been using ‘back channels’ to test Slot’s interest in the job.
Tottenham passed on a Dutch coach in 2021 as they snubbed Erik ten Hag but they could look to rectify that mistake by going for Slot.
Daniel Levy and co will be keeping close tabs on Slot’s end to the season in Rotterdam – and it’s going pretty well.

Feyenoord hosted RKC Waalwijk on Sunday night with Slot’s men thoroughly expected to rack up another win.

This ended up being an absolute hammering.
Feyenoord were 3-0 up by half-time and showed no signs of slowing down, taking a 5-0 lead by the 61st minute.
Waalwijk did pull one back but that didn’t dampen the spirits at De Kuip as Feyenoord recorded another big win.
Slot is a very attack-minded managing and it showed as Feyenoord kept going for more and more goals.
Feyenoord sit eight points clear at the top of the Eredivisie with just six games to go.
Ajax may still have some hope of piling pressure on their bitter rivals but the battle for the Eredivisie title appears to be almost over.
Slot has remarkably lost just one league game this season and he could end the season as a title-winner – before potentially heading to take the Tottenham job.
