Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has found himself the subject of another potential injury scare.
The Gunners star has been crucial for Mikel Arteta’s side this season in pursuit of the Premier League title.
However, Partey has found himself on the sidelines on a number of occasions this term.

It hasn’t been plain sailing for the 29-year-old’s fitness during the latest international break either.
Partey was an unused substitute during Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification clash against Angola on Monday.
After the game, Black Stars manager Chris Hughton said, via football.london: “Thomas has some small issues.
“We felt it was too big of a risk to start him [against Angola].”
‘They believe he will be fine’
Although football.london deemed Partey’s return date ‘unknown’, Goal.com’s Charles Watts has more promising news.
Watts, speaking on his YouTube channel, said he spoke to people close to the Arsenal star.
Apparently, they feel Partey will be fine for this weekend’s Premier League meeting with Leeds United.
However, Watts stressed that this is a “very early assessment” and may yet change.

“My understanding of the situation is that Thomas Partey was training on Sunday ahead of that game against Angola and he felt something in his right leg,” he said.
“Now, there are pictures from that training session where you see the physio sort of working on Thomas’ leg.
“He’s got some sort of strapping on his thigh around the back of his leg. And my understanding is it is not a hamstring issue.

“That’s what I’ve been told by people close to Thomas Partey. And they believe he will be fine for the weekend.
“Obviously, that’s a very early assessment.
“Partey is due back in London Colney [Tuesday] where he will be assessed by the Arsenal medical team.
“And then you think a decision will be taken a little bit later on about whether he can feature against Leeds.”

Partey has been absolutely outstanding this season, often making the difference for Arsenal in games.
