Tim Sherwood says Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min is ‘top-draw’ whilst his partner in crime, Harry Kane, is ‘irreplaceable’ and ‘world-class’.
On Saturday, both players were on the scoresheet as Tottenham saw past their Champions League rivals Brighton – with Son Heung-min scoring his 100th Premier League goal.
The South Korean star opened the scoring, but it was Harry Kane who netted the winner and his former manager made it clear that the 29-year-old is just on another level.

That’s probably an understatement because, without Kane and Son, Spurs would be in a world of trouble – Gary Lineker alluded to that on Match of the Day.
But, for now, that’s an answer Tottenham aren’t going to get an answer to and they don’t want it answered next season, either, given there is a risk of Kane leaving.
Nonetheless, following Son and Kane getting on the scoresheet during a win for Spurs, Tim Sherwood shared his thoughts, as he told Sky Sports News (08/04/23 at 5:45 pm).
“Son’s goal in the first half, his 100th Premier League goal, it was an amazing strike,” said Sherwood.
“A magnificent goal for a top-draw player. He’s had not the best of seasons. But he is continually a threat all the time.

“Harry Kane, 18 yards out, inventible outcome and the ball just rattles into the bottom corner. He has hardly touched the ball all game, but when you have world-class qualities that he has, where would Tottenham be without this man?
“It’s just incredible what he’s produced. Time and time again. Year after year on a consistent basis. End of contact at the end of next season. He’s just irreplaceable. He is just a magnificent world-class player.”

SON LEAVES HIS BEST FORM TILL LAST?
It has been a real struggle for the 30-year-old this season, but could there be the case that he leaves his best form till last?
If that’s the case, then it will seriously help Tottenham’s Champions League cause because Manchester United and Newcastle United are drifting away from them.
In a few weeks, Spurs will lock horns with both of those teams, and in truth, if they come out of it with zero points, then it really is over.
