TMZ posted audio from part of the standup comic’s set when an audience member asked about the arrest.

The Girls Trip star described the arresting officer: “I prayed to God that he would stick me with a man with a job, preferably in a uniform.”

She added: “God answered my prayers!” before the crowd went wild.

Tiffany asked the audience if they had any more questions before: “I roll up out of here with my family.”

The comedian returned to the comedy club after spending Thursday night at its 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast.

‘AN INVESTIGATION FOR A DUI’

Hours after Thursday’s show, the Haunted Mansion star was arrested and is currently facing a DUI charge.

The comic allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of a running car.

A spokesman for Beverly Hills Police Department told The U.S. Sun: “Tiffany Haddish is currently being held in custody.

“She was arrested after an investigation for a DUI.

“She is currently being booked in our jail and will be released later this afternoon.

The spokesman continued: “She was arrested on Beverly Drive just north of Dayton Way at around 7:20 am this morning.

“We are still investigating so I can’t say if it was drugs or alcohol at this stage.”

The Watch Commander at the BHPD also told The U.S. Sun that a reporting party first called local cops at around five in the early morning and claimed the driver was “slumped over the wheel of their car on Beverly Drive.”

The car was reportedly still running when police arrived at the crime scene, according to TMZ, who first reported the arrest.

The Card Counter star supposedly went peacefully with cops during her arrest.

On Wednesday night, Tiffany took to her Instagram account after partying and complained to fans in a strange video about how a Los Angeles club refused to let her in.

PAST DUI

This is the second time The Last Black Unicorn author has been arrested for a DUI.

In January 2022, Tiffany was busted for a similar incident in the Atlanta area.

At the time, Georgia police responded to a call of someone sleeping behind the wheel.

When they arrived on the scene, the police discovered Tiffany had pulled into the neighborhood.

The comedian was arrested for DUI and improper stopping on a roadway.

According to court records uncovered by TMZ, Tiffany’s trial date was scheduled for December for that case.
