C-Knight’s father, George Lee Washington Blount Jr., revealed the MC’s blood sugar levels stemmed from his diabetes.
He said that C-Knight suffered a stroke while receiving dialysis and went into cardiac arrest.
The hip-hop artist’s heart stopped and he had to be resuscitated by doctors, according to the outlet.
C-Knight – who made up The Dove Shack with 2Scoops and Bo-Roc -has reportedly been in an unresponsive state since the cardiac arrest.
Doctors have told his family they haven’t detected any signs of progress.

His father said they are waiting for a crucial MRI scan to be done, which will tell them if there’s any significant brain activity.
If the scan doesn’t show any activity, his family will reportedly keep him on life support for the time being.
The family believes C-Knight can recover and is “praying for a miracle” for him to pull through, TMZ reported.
C-Knight’s bandmate Bo-Roc shared a heartbreaking post for the rapper four days after he was hospitalized.
He posted a photo of C-Knight on Instagram and wrote: “I’m literally begging all who see’s this post to pray for my brother from another mother and one of my closest friends in the world Arnez a.k.a C Knight from the Dove Shack.”
Referencing the group’s highest-charting song, Bo-Roc added: “He’s the founder of the Dove Shack and the reason I had the opportunity to make #summertimeinthelbc for the world.
“So please please send him positive energy and healing prayers.”
