TEYANA Taylor has filed to divorce her partner of seven years Iman Shumpert, a DWTS alum.
Their separation was only confirmed in September, but their relationship was over long before that.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, before publically announcing their separation, Teyana, 32, filed for divorce in Georgia in January.
That was over eight months before their separation was made public knowledge.
She also said the 33-year-old NBA star was a narcissist throughout their entire relationship.
In the documents, the singer talks about why their marriage ended while accusing Iman of being jealous and insecure.
She alleged that he would become annoyed when they were in public together and the paparazzi only wanted a picture of her.
BATTLE OF CAREERS
Even though Iman received a $40million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and got $8million from the New York Knicks in 2015, Teyana said he was still jealous of her career and spotlight.
She then alleged that Iman sent her condescending and manipulative text messages because of her notoriety, and then created arguments out of nowhere.
The 2021 Maxim’s Sexiest Woman Alive even stated that she felt Iman was “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.”
She “began to intentionally dim her light for her husband to try to have a harmonious and peaceful marriage” even though Iman “became more and more angry” about her career.
The singer even turned down some career opportunities, according to the documents, because Iman “did not want her to work.”

Even though she wanted to keep her family together, Teyana was “unable to handle the emotional rollercoaster” for much longer, so she filed for divorce.
INFIDELITY?
In September, Teyana confirmed that she was separating from Iman while also addressing the infidelity rumors that circulated around the couple.
The singer and actress confirmed her relationship was over on Instagram when she posted a cute photo of herself and Iman holding up peace signs.
Teyana shared: “AHT AHT! Not too much on my bestie!
“In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while.”
She continued: “To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure.
“We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our two beautiful children.”
She also explained the original reasons behind their split: “Most importantly we are family and in the ten years together, seven married, we ain’t ever played with or about that.
“We just keep y’all a**es out the group chat lol, which is the reason we’ve been able to successfully and peacefully separate without all of the outside noise.
“The only reason I’m even sharing this part of the chat is because the narratives are getting a little out of hand and it’s unfair to all parties involved.”
