Video footage at the Mumbai airport captured her apparent distress as she returned from war-trodden Israel.

Nushrratt was left stranded after travelling to the country to attend the prestigious HAIFA film awards.

Her team said they lost all contact with the actress during the emergency hours.

However, they soon got in touch with her with the help of the Indian embassy in Israel.

Nushrratt was safely taken back to India on Sunday afternoon.

Overwhelmed by the attention, the teary-eyed actress pleaded: “I am finally where I belong and I just want to go home now.”

Nushrratt’s team shared a public statement announcing her safe status.

They wrote: “ We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home.

“We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home.

“We are relieved Thank God she is safe and on her way to India.”

In an update, her team later shared that the Indian actress had boarded a flight to India and would be landing at Mumbai International Airport.

The 38-year-old actor had travelled to Israel for the maiden screening of her movie Akelli – which also features Israeli actors Itsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous.

Fighting in Israel is now raging into a third day after Hamas terrorists breached the border from Gaza in an unprecedented surprise attack on Saturday.

They stormed across the border and launched an all-out attack on Israel from land, air and sea with 5,000 rockets fired.

The unexpected attack has been dubbed “Israel’s 9/11” after what experts referred to as an “embarrassing intelligence failure” preceding the attack.

More than 1,100 have been confirmed dead in Israel and Gaza and thousands more injured.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to reduce Gaza to “rubble” after more than 700 people were killed in Israel by Hamas terrorists.

More than 400 Palestinians are dead as the Israeli counter-offensive continues air-striking Gaza.

The Israeli military is now expected to invade Gaza within the next 48 hours – according to the US.
