Kailyn, 31, shared a sneak peek at the new nursery under construction.
In the Instagram Story, the Teen Mom 2 alum posted a snapshot of her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, 25.
With the black curtain halfway closed, her baby daddy used a screwdriver on a nail on the side of a window.
Elijah had one foot on the aluminum step ladder and the other on top of the crib.
THE FAN THEORIES
In an online thread, social media sleuths speculated one of the twins might be a girl because they spotted a pink bed inside the crib.
One fan assumed: “This looks like a pink sheet on the crib, right?”
Another fan claimed: “Statistically about 50 percent of fraternal twins are boy and girl, with 25 percent boy/boy and 25 percent girl/girl.
“So the odds of one being a girl are in her favor this time.”
A third fan theorized: “What if it’s not just pink? The other side might be blue. You can have either color facing up.”
A fourth person wrote: “Statistically, the odds have to be in her favor for having girls, or at least one girl, right?”
A commentator chimed: “I gotta feel for the boy twin, though. I hope he doesn’t get overlooked because she finally gets her girl.”

‘PERMANENT SOUVENIRS’
On Friday, October 27, the MTV star finally exposed her growing belly after months of hiding her pregnancy from the public.
During the installment of her Barely Famous podcast, Kailyn flaunted her round tummy while sharing her pregnancy with guest Allison Kuch.
While discussing their recent trip to Thailand, the podcast host said: “We both came home with permanent souvenirs.”
Allison seemed confused as she said: “Wait, you came home with a permanent souvenir?”
The MTV mom pointed the camera at her belly bump beneath the gray T-shirt.
Allison seemed shocked and added: “We both got pregnant in Thailand.”
THE BABY RUMORS
Before the Teen Mom star confirmed her pregnancy, fans suspected for months that she was carrying twins.
Rumors swirled in May after photos – exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun – showed the TV personality sporting what looked like a baby bump while running errands.
Kailyn shares Rio and her forthcoming twins with her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, 25.
She is also a mom to a son, Isaac, 13, with her ex, Jo Rivera; a son, Lincoln, nine, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin; and sons, Lux, six, and Creed, three, with her ex-Chris Lopez.
