TEEN Mom fans have spotted an adorable detail in Chelsea Houska’s latest social media video of Aubree and Cole DeBoer.
HGTV and the MTV alum’s husband posted a video on Instagram that showed the family facing off in a gingerbread house competition.

Aubree, 14, was acting as the moderator in the clip, announcing: “I’m Aubree DeBoer. This is Cole DeBoer, my dad, and Chelsea DeBoer, my mother.”
She went on: “And they have 30 minutes to create the best gingerbread house they can.”
While Teen Mom fans were interested in the competition, many were focused on a more subtle detail – the fact that Aubree referred to Cole as her “dad,” rather than her step-father.
“After ‘I’m Aubree DeBoer, this is Cole DeBoer, my dad…’ I lost it. That is the best part,” one fan gushed.
Another reacted with: “She called him her dad,” adding two red heart emojis and a crying face.
“‘My dad Cole’ I love this! I relate to Aubree so much,” a third fan praised.
Another supporter reacted with: “I cried at Aubree DeBoer….Back to the winner….. C O L E !!”
“Aubree just warmed my heart! I’m so happy she has Cole,” a fifth fan commented.
Someone else wrote: “Her dad,” adding a red heart.
Chelsea shares Aubree with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind.
Adam has been in and out of Aubree’s life for several reasons, including his battle with addiction and legal run-ins.
ALL GROWN UP
On Wednesday, Aubree stunned fans with how grown up she’s gotten as of late.
Her 16 & Pregnant alum mom posted a photo of her online that stirred the ire of some and left others in awe.
Chelsea documented a visit to meet Santa with her four children on her Instagram Story.
Among the holiday photos was a picture of her eldest daughter, Aubree, posing for a selfie.
In the pic, she wore a brown fur coat and a black beanie with her blonde hair hanging down.
She posed with her hand in a rock-on symbole at the camera and covered her face slightly.
The young TV personality wore long pink acrylic fake nails that had a pattern on them.
The Story post was captioned: “No pictures with Santa for this one.”
Chelsea’s other Instagram Stories showed her younger daughters, Layne and Walker, sitting on Santa’s lap.
She also showed Watson standing between Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Fans flooded the comments with their opinions – some positive and some negative.
The photos were shared on Reddit in a thread titled: “DeBoers do Santa.”
One person wrote: “the pink hat lol the nails are a bit much.”
“I always see people commenting how Leah’s kids have fake nails, and bash it, yet here’s Chelsea’s daughter with the same exact thing….,” a second critiqued.

BIT MUCH?
Chelsea isn’t just being slammed for her parenting, however.
She’s also facing backlash over her Christmas decor.
The reality TV star has brought fans inside her home, which is decorated for the holidays.
She’s been slammed by Teen Mom fans over the expensive price tag attached to some of her decor pieces.
Chelsea uploaded a video for her 6.7million social media followers that showed her getting ready for the holidays by putting together some decorations.
In the short clip, viewers could hear Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You playing in the background as she showcased a DIY project.
This year, Chelsea said she wanted to put her two massive Christmas trees inside gray vases.
Since they were too big, Cole took matters into his own hands and built holders inside the vases.
“I cut my old mailbox up, put the post in [the spheres], created a little thing to hold it in there and I’m gonna spray foam it [to create a] Christmas tree holder,” he explained.
In another clip, Chelsea recorded Cole filling up the vase so that it was completely covered.
Kids Watson and Layne also jumped in to help fill up the vase.
Chelsea and Cole are also parents to a third child called Walker.
Once the vase was completely filled and only showing the pipe the tree will be placed in, Cole set it up in the living room.
Chelsea appeared proud of her husband, saying: “Look at him, he made it work!”
She showed off the final product, including decorated trees with multi-colored ornaments and a gold star on top.
Her caption read: “I’ve always loved these types of planters for a Christmas tree base and was so bummed when my trees didn’t fit, so Cole obviously came up with a solution and I LOVE how it turned out.”
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the price tag on one of Chelsea’s Christmas tree holders, however, and were left shocked.
One follower shared a screenshot of the trees that revealed that. they cost $750 each.
Many commenters pointed out that Chelsea’s tree is known as a King Noble Fir.
“750 for THAT?! yikes,” one person wrote.
A second wondered: “What makes these 750? Are they made of gold?”
“What on God’s green earth makes THIS $750?” a third person asked.
“Yeah that’s sparse. I expect it to bloom diamonds for that price,” a fourth critic joked.
Another commenter critiqued: “I can’t hate on the European style. Balsam Fir and King Noble Fir are some of my favorite trees; the sparsity is kind of the key to it. Cheap versions look bad; I can see why these are so stupidly expensive.”
