TEEN Mom star Amber Portwood’s fiance Gary Wayt was spotted in a Verizon store in Oklahoma a day after going missing.
Local police exclusively confirmed to The U.S. Sun that Amber’s new fiance, who disappeared after her brother’s wedding in North Carolina, turned up on Tuesday in an entirely different state and away from their home in Indiana.
The Teen Mom star’s new man was spotted in Oklahoma on Tuesday, North Carolina police confirmed.
“We know he is not in this area. We know he is driving his vehicle. We have confirmed that he is in a different state,” the law enforcement source added.
It’s a more than 10-hour drive from North Carolina to Oklahoma.
Amber and Gary spent a long weekend in Bryson City, North Carolina, celebrating her brother Shawn’s wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Williams.
As they prepared to head back to their Indiana home, Amber and Gary argued, according to police.
He left the cabin with his wallet and the car keys and drove off.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
A source close to the investigation expressed their relief that Gary was spotted and said it’s unclear if the 39-year-old even knows he’s currently a missing person.
“He might not even know he’s a missing person at this point since he hasn’t had his phone and only took his wallet and the car.”

In the photos, the couple appeared happy while celebrating the nuptials last week.
In an exclusive statement to The U.S. Sun, police confirmed that the Teen Mom star told them she and Gary got into an argument before he walked out on Sunday, June 9 with his wallet.
“Amber stated she and Gary were having an argument and Gary picked up his car keys and wallet and walked out the door and drove off in a 2009 Nissan Rogue gray in color,” police said in the statement.
Gary and Amber have been dating since last year, and they got engaged in late May.
She first introduced the 39-year-old to Teen Mom fans during this current season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
The reality star has documented her life as a teen mom starting from her days on 16 and Pregnant and then on Teen Mom OG.
Amber has documented the difficult journey in her relationships with her two children, neither of whom she has custody of.
She shares her 15-year-old daughter, Leah, with her ex Gary Shirley.
Amber also has a 6-year-old son, James, with her ex Andrew Glennon.
The MTV star was in prison for 18 months after pleading guilty to two felony charges of domestic battery following an alleged attack on Leah’s father, Gary.
