Music has always played a key role in the comedy series Ted Lasso and the newly released season 3 is no different but which songs feature in the show’s toe-tapping soundtrack?
The songs and original score in a film or TV show can often make or break the final product as they help to add just the right feeling to each scene.
For a show like Ted Lasso, which balances joyous humor with tear-jerking emotion, the choice of songs can be vital and so it goes without saying that the soundtrack for season 3 features plenty of familiar tracks.
Ted Lasso season 3 release date and plot preview
Season 3 of Ted Lasso kicks off on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Following their promotion back to the Premier League in season 2, AFC Richmond are touted to finish last upon their return to the top table of English football.
Nate ‘The Wonder Kid’ Shelley, now sporting a full head of grey hair, has taken over as the manager of fellow London club West Ham United, now owned by Rebecca’s scheming ex-husband Rupert, sparking a fierce rivalry between players, coaches and owners alike.
Meanwhile, as if Richmond’s struggles to defy the critics weren’t enough to deal with, loveable coach Ted Lasso finds himself wrestling with his own personal issues back home.
With things falling apart on and off the pitch, it will be up to Team Lasso to rally together and give it their best shot regardless.

We will update our episode-specific list as each chapter arrives.

How many episodes in total?
Season 3 of Ted Lasso will consist of 12 episodes in total.
The episode count should come as little surprise to veteran fans of the series as season 2 also featured 12 chapters after being extended from an originally planned 10 episodes as we saw in season 1.
After season 3 premieres on March 15, new episodes will be released weekly on Apple TV+ meaning Ted Lasso fans will have an episode arriving each Wednesday for two and a half months with the finale landing on May 31, 2023.
The schedule for Ted Lasso could prove to be ingenious as new episodes will be released alongside the final weeks of the real-life Premier League season.

Beyond Ted Lasso’s third season, the show’s future looks uncertain as its writers have claimed that season 3 will be the final installment.
However, some hope remains as season 3 has not been officially billed as the final season by Apple TV+ itself which comes as no surprise as Ted Lasso is comfortably the streaming service’s biggest show and they’re unlikely to want to bring an end to their most successful series.

Season 3 of Ted Lasso will be available to stream on Apple TV+ from Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
