FANS have spotted Lady Gaga watching the big game with her boyfriend Michael Polansky – but many think the singer is sending a major message with her makeup.
The singer was the 2017 halftime show performer but she returned this year as a fan.
Lady Gaga, 37, was spotted attending the Super Bowl LVIII game with her boyfriend Michael Polansky, 46, on Sunday.
The pop star was seen in the stands with the tech entrepreneur as they watched the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head at Allegiant Stadium.
The Bad Romance singer was Vegas-ready with an oversized San Fran jersey, black tights, and heeled black booties.
She covered up in a bedazzled jacket and had her platinum hair styled in an updo.
Michael dressed more casually in a red hoodie and black cap.
Lady Gaga went wild with her makeup, using gems to create a dramatic eye look.
Each eye had a butterfly design created with jewels and glitter.
But there was something familiar about the makeup – it was nearly identical to her look when she performed at the Superbowl halftime show in 2017.
The singer seemed to make a nod to her iconic performance, with both looks including red and white crystals lined surrounded by heavy black liner.
GAGA’S GAME
Gaga’s Superbowl appearance was one of the most-watched in the event’s history as it brought in 117.5 million viewers.
She also kicked off the entire show by singing the national anthem.
Makeup artist Sarah Tanno previously shared that the songwriter’s show bodysuit, boots, and face were lined with Swarovski crystals for the big game.
“I wanted her to be able to look at this 10 years from now and have it feel timeless,” she told USA Today.
STAR-STUDDED
Gaga and her man watched the Superbowl at midfield with several other A-listers including Gwen Stefani, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Goldblum, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé.
Taylor Swift was also in attendance at the game where she supported her boyfriend Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
She watched alongside her friends Lana Del Rey, Blake Lively, and Ice Spice, as Kelce and the team brought in the win at the star-studded event.
Queen Bey starred in a high-profile advert and she announced her Renaissance: Act II album at the big game.
The Run The World singer also dropped two new singles for her devoted followers to enjoy.
BIG HINTS?
Fans of Gaga and Beyonce are convinced that the pair might be hinting at a potential reunion.
The first clue related to the original famous video where Lady Gaga was booked into jail on February 11 at the start of the extended music film.
This was of course the same date of Super Bowl LVIII, for which both global artists were in attendance.
The second clue came in the form of mobile tech companies and connections to them.
In Telephone, Virgin Mobile was shown and this year Beyonce whipped her fans into a frenzy after she starred in a Verizon commercial.
The Renaissance hitmaker also took to social media as she uploaded a clip of her driving through the desert, a very similar shot to the dessert drive by the pair in the original music video.
In the third hint, Beyonce’s latest single was a track called ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’, which contains similar lyrics to Gaga’s hit ‘Poker Face.’
In the 2008 track, Gaga’s first words were: “I wanna hold ’em like they do in Texas, please.”
For the last clue, Lady Gaga took to her Instagram with a snap of her stadium view at the highly anticipated game.
She held two fingers in front of the camera, obstructing the view, which could be a possible reference to a sequel or part two of the video.
On the day, she also donned a jersey top which was emblazoned with the number ’16’, which fans think could be a reference to Beyonce’s track ’16 Carriages’, which was released on Sunday.
