Ben Foster has backed Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka, to possibly be in with a shout of winning the FIFA Ballon d’Or in years to come.
The former Premier League goalkeeper was discussing the best wonderkids in the Premier League today, and when Bukayo Saka’s name came up, he stated ‘stop the vote now’.
At the age of 21, he isn’t just taking Arsenal by storm in their title push with Manchester City, but the Premier League also – It was even recently stated by Gabby Agbonlahor that he is already better than David Beckham.

He became the first player this season to hit double figures, in both goals and assists, which is some going given the ridiculous attacking talent the Premier League has to offer.
But things could get much better if he guides his boyhood club to the title in May, as Ben Foster backed him for the Ballon d’Or if he continues down his current road, as he told the Premier League.
“For me, I just think we need to end the vote now,” said Foster. “I think he has been that good and he has improved so much this season, which is saying a lot because last season he was fantastic too.

On Saka winning Ballon d’Or: “If he carries on evolving like this, then he has to be in with a shout for it, eventually.”

SAKA SHINING BRIGHT
He began his journey as a fresh-faced teenager when Unai Emery was in the Arsenal dugout – playing as a left-back at times.
It’s crazy to think he was playing in that position given what he is cooking now – Manchester United great, Gary Neville, recently stated that he would ‘hate’ to come up against a player like Saka.
But, whether it’s for Arsenal or England, he is shining bright on whatever stage he enters. The best thing about it all for his supporters is that this is just the start of the journey.
