Pundit Darren Bent has told Tottenham Hotspur-linked striker Evan Ferguson to stay at Brighton & Hove Albion amid the constant transfer rumours surrounding his name.
It was claimed last week that alongside Spurs, Liverpool are also keen on signing the Irish No.9.
As Evan Ferguson gets linked with transfers to both Tottenham Hotspur and Jurgen Klopp’s side, pundit Darren Bent believes he should stay put at Brighton.
Pundit Darren Bent tells Evan Ferguson to stay at Brighton amid Tottenham & Liverpool transfer links
iNews had claimed last Thursday that after the 18-year-old bagged his first goal for Ireland against Latvia, his value could catapult up to £100 million.
But as Evan Ferguson especially gets speculated with a transfer to Tottenham as a potential successor to Harry Kane, pundit Darren Bent has encouraged him to stay at Brighton.

“The size of him, the frame he’s got, the technical ability, his goalscoring ability, he’s going to be a top-quality player. I think he should stay exactly where he’s at”, he told talkSPORT.

“I know it’s hard because you get the likes of the big boys coming to look at him but he’s playing in a fantastic team under a great manager who’s getting the best out of him again, [Roberto] De Zerbi and he’s going to get game time at Brighton.”
“He’s evolving at the minute between him and Danny Welbeck obviously kind of sharing the load. Give him another full season, if he scores another 15-20 goals back in the next season, then, it’s a different conversation.”
It is fair to say that pundit Darren Bent may have a point and Evan Ferguson should be in no rush for his next transfer to Tottenham, Liverpool or any club for that matter.
Ferguson has all the ability and time in the world to be in no hurry to make a big move, if that remains his priority.
