Coffee lovers and astrology fans can rejoice, as Starbucks’ new collaboration uses star signs to determine your drink order.
Coffee chain Starbucks is turning to the stars for inspiration this spring. Following the likes of Spotify, who also use the zodiac to create personalized playlists, this astrology-inspired menu is one for those who want to add an extra special twist to their Starbucks trips.
How does Starbucks Star Signs work?
First off, you’ll want to head to the new Starbucks Star Signs website, powered by Sanctuary. You will then be presented with all 12 zodiac signs, requiring you to select yours.
After you have selected, the feature will ask you about your coffee drinking habits. You will need to select either morning or afternoon as the ideal time for your coffee break. This is all the information needed for Starbucks to give you a springtime zodiac reading as well as a personalized drink order.
This new feature is free of charge, but it won’t give you any discounts on the astrology-inspired drinks.
Starbucks astrology gives you power words, colors and flowers
After choosing your zodiac and answering the question about your coffee habits, the astrology feature will give you three power words to carry into spring. It will also present you with a personal spring color and flower.
It will then give you a brief horoscope reading about your personality, as is common practice in usual astrological readings.
Finally, you will be given a Starbucks drink which reflects your star sign and coffee habits. While the flower and drink order stays the same for all signs, the power words and colors change dependent on when you take your coffee break. You can find the full chart for each sign below.
